The Dilemma of Being a Work at Home Parent

Working at home - it's the great American dream, right? Making your own schedule. Getting up as you please. Working when you feel like it. I still can't believe I get to do it sometimes. But, for those of us with kids to think about, it's a whole different ballgame.

Working at home may be the culmination of a lifelong dream and years of hard work, but it's a trial all by itself and one that is going to severely test your relationships. I have been doing this for a couple of years now and while I greatly enjoy being free to come and go as I please and enjoy every event of my children's lives, I also have to deal with the tradeoffs.
